Last Few Days

By the end of our winter break, some of the shiny had worn off the new things and the natives were getting restless.  They really wanted to go to a new park kind of near our house.  They had a blast just running around and having fun.

Miriam also started her basketball practices during December and had her first game the Saturday before we went back to school.  I took the other girls with me to cheer her on.  We were a bit disappointed to realize that they were 40 minutes behind schedule when we arrived 20 minutes before the game was to start.  Luckily, there was a park next to the gym and the girls all played.

 Miriam's team won and it was a fun game.  It was mostly funny watching these girls (a lot of them first timers) trying to figure out what they were supposed to be doing.
