Field Trips!

All of the fun end-of-year-stuff is upon us!  Miriam turned in her report on sea turtles along with her play-dough turtles she made.  On Tuesday, she got to go with her class on the floating lab.  I didn't get to go this year, but she said she had a blast.  One of the parents did get a cute picture of her helping to pull in the net with their catch to study.  And she did kiss the sea cucumber for 5 years good luck!

On Thursday, I got to go to the beach with Rachel's preschool class.  They had a blast.  Rachel spent the whole time chasing waves and was in heaven.  She also got to hold a green crab towards the end.  I had a nice time visiting with the other parents.  We took Teacher Becky in our car.  On the way to the beach, Rachel was going on about how pretty Teacher Becky's shirt was.  Then as we went to get in the car to go home, Rachel said, "Teacher Becky your hair is all messy."  Nice.  Yeah, that's my kid, the one with no filter.

That evening was Art Night at the school.  We found the girls artwork and then went out to Topper's for pizza!  It was a fun family evening.
