LEGO Creations

The girls get the LEGO Club magazines in the mail and Liz found a LEGO competition in one of them.  She and Miriam wanted to enter it.  The theme was 'Your Dream Vacation'.  Miriam and Liz combined their dreams: Liz wanted to go to a hotel with her friends and family while Miriam wanted to go to the beach with her friends and family....they decided to build a hotel on the beach!

While watching them build, I realized they needed a bigger green square to put their creation on.  We took a trip to Toys'RUs to find one.  While there, we also found a little set that had a boat, beach chair and sand castle that was too good to pass up!  Since I was getting two things for the big girls, I had to let Rachel pick out something.  She chose some knights transporting the treasure being attacked by the bad knights.

These girls had so much fun working on their creation and adding to it and perfecting it.  We took a picture of it and mailed it in to the competition.  Then we entered it in the fair too!!!
