Mini-Golf

"People think it's just golf in miniature, but it's not....it's miniature golf!"

After a quick trip to the library, we took the girls to Golf n' Stuff for a round of mini-golf.  Jim is pretty sure that he has taken Liz before, but nobody remembered, so it was like the first time for everyone!  Rachel was in love with this Batmobile ride and we could hardly lure her away with a weapon of iron and a ball!

We were pretty organized for the first couple holes and took turns and recorded our score, but then it dissolved into a bit of a free for all.  Miriam got the hang of it, was in a hurry, and lowered her score by at least one when she reported it!  Liz was mostly frustrated and took all nine shots on most holes.  Rachel was happy to run around for most of the time and then put her ball next to the hole and push it in.  But I think everyone had a good time.  Amazingly enough, the final score was a tie! (Wink, wink)

After mini-golf, we went to In-N-Out to reward all the winners with a shake cut in half, because that's how we do it around here.  Then we came home and hung out around the house.  Miriam played outside with her friends and Rachel watched her Superman cartoons from the library.  That night, we watched Ella Enchanted.  The girls really liked the movie, even though it was so different from the book.

So fun! I remember that course fondly. Love the Phineas and ferb quote at the start.

Miniature golfing with kids is either fun or frustrating...glad you had the fun experience!

Such a fun outing! You win most fun parents. :) I love the shot of Rachel with her ball 2 inches from the hole. That's how Weston still likes to do it.
