Grandma B's House

Rachel asks to go to Grandma B's house ALL the time. So we took advantage of summer and went down for a couple days. We drove down Sunday evening and got there in time to play a bit with Grandma, Grandpa, Jules and Chloe. Monday morning, Rachel and Mimi were up early. We took a slow morning playing, coloring, eating pop tarts and finally getting ourselves dressed.
We went out to lunch at the McDonald's with a play place. The girls enjoyed their Happy Meals and Rachel was big enough to climb up the tunnels and go down the slide! She was so proud of herself. After lunch, we picked up Jules and came home for naps. Jules, Rachel and I all got to nap while Grandma went to the grocery store. After nap time, we went swimming at a friends' pool. The girls had fun jumping in and playing. Rachel LOVED swimming with her Auntie Jules.
That evening, we had a family from my parent's ward over for dinner and FHE. Grandma made "Taco Bubble Casserole" which was kind of fun. It's basically the taco meat mixed with little pieces of biscuit. When you bake it, they look like bubbles. Then you top it with taco toppings.
Tuesday morning, Jules and Rachel lounged in front of the TV. Jules had to change her shirt afterward because Rachel had drooled all over it.
Tuesday morning, we met up with my friend, Jennifer, at Mimi's Cafe for a late breakfast. We were there early, of course. To pass the time, I took pictures of the girls. Have I mentioned that I love my camera?!?! It also helps to have such great models.

So fun. Did you get a hair cut. Loving your hair in that last picture. Glad you are having fun with your parents and Jules!
