Rachel's Birthday

We celebrated Rachel's birthday on Sunday after her nap. We had french toast and sausage for dinner (two of her favorites) and then let her open her presents. Unfortunately, as we were getting ready to do all of this, we realized our camera was broken. Again. It broke similarly a few years ago and we sent it back to the manufacturer and got it fixed. But that wasn't going to help us for her birthday! So these pictures are all from Jim's iphone.

She opened her pillow pet from her big sisters. They picked out a blue dolphin for her. Now hopefully, there will be no more fighting over two pillow pets for three girls. Then she opened her Woody doll. After that, it was just, "Want Woody!" over and over. We forced her to open her last present and have some cake, but she really just wanted Woody. It was pretty cute.
I always try to get a picture of the birthday child with Mom and Dad and their birthday cake. Since it was just us, Lizzie took the picture and Rachel was way more interested in picking the sprinkles off the side of the cake!

***Woody update: She has since figured out how to put the hat on by herself. She insists on taking both Woody and Buzz to bed with her. She takes Woody everywhere she goes and still has fits if someone else touches him. Jim and I think it's adorable....can you say 'spoiled'?!?!

that's awesome...i hope when she goes to college, you don't donate woody to a childcare facility...that'd be horrible.
