Chrismas Morning!!!

Jim woke up first on Christmas morning, around 7am. I think he was excited! I got up and made the bed and brushed my hair while Jim went in and woke up the big girls. Normally, I would never condone such an action, but we kind of had to get going that morning. They were so excited to see their presents from Santa and the huge aircraft carrier in the front room.
Miriam's big present from Santa was a golf set that both girls have had their eye on everytime we visit the Disney store. Miriam was amazed that Santa would know that she liked it so much. Lizzie got her ladybug pillow pet and was excited too.
Rachel finally woke up and started working on her pile of presents. She has a much slower unwrapping technique, but it eventually gets done. She was also a bit bleary eyed as she got started.

When the girls finished all their "Santa" presents, we moved on to the tree where we had our presents for each other. The girls were thrilled with GI Joes from their daddy and he liked the ones we bought for him too.
Jim's big present this year was a set of Bose noise cancelling headphones, which have been on his pony list for years. He spoiled me this year with a beautiful jewelry box and some gorgeous pieces to put in it. He gave me a necklace with a ruby pendant (Rachel's birthstone) and a necklace with a pearl pendant (Lizzie's birthstone) and pearl earrings to go with it. They were all so beautiful. He also gave me the complete Laura Ingalls Wilder set of books and some great coupons for sleeping in, date nights and a car wash!!!
