Spring Break: Day 10 & 11

On Saturday we took a slow morning. After Rachel's nap, we went to Auntie Jules' pool for some swimming. Unfortunately, her pool wasn't heated so it was frigid!!! Lizzie swam for a little bit until her body started turning blue. Then Mimi decided she wanted to swim and needed Auntie's help. So Jules wins again: Best Auntie for swimming with her niece in the freezing pool. After swimming we went back to her apartment where she fed us lunch. Yum.

Some puzzle fun with Grandma and Grandpa!!

That afternoon, Mom, Dad, Jim and I went to the wedding of a friend I've known since 2nd grade. It was a beautiful wedding in Corona Del Mar and we had a good time. It was kind of crazy sitting at this table of mostly women (my age) and being the only one married...let alone with three children. However, they all had at least one degree (most had two) and were on career paths.

Sunday we went to church in my parents ward. It's always nice to just show up to church and enjoy the three hour block with no other responsibilities. The girls really enjoy their primary teacher there (who has been teaching since before I was that age). After church we went out to Grandma Olson's for a little family party to celebrate Dad's birthday! We had so much fun visiting with everyone there.
